Third Skill - King's Pillar + PSA!!
May. 14th, 2011 08:30 amGod okay where to start.
The King's Pillar is Sugata's First Phase power, which is to say the super power he gets from his Cybody that he can use whenever he wants. TECHNICALLY I guess he shouldn't have it anymore because Samekh was destroyed and he is from post canon, but whatever! You can't take away my giant phallic libido-fueled nuclear attack!!
In canon the King's Pillar has a different effect pretty much every time Sugata uses it!
1 & 2: HUGE attack area at which Sugata is the center. Kills roughly 200 tougher than human dolls, creates a crater about an acre across, ONLY targets people Sugata regards as an enemy, all allies are protected inside bubbles! Creates a nuclear like cloud deformation over the island that also looks like Samekh's symbol.
3 & 4: The same as the above, only Sugata summons it down on a point far away from himself instead of the attack focusing around himself.
5 & 7: The same as the above, only it doesn't work!
6: Small attack area with Sugata at the center! It completely wipes out an enemy's attack field, BUT Takuto was in there somewhere and Sugata didn't know where. Presumably Sugata couldn't protect Takuto from the attack so it made it weak enough that a person could survive it.
8: LASER BALLS! He didn't actually release this attack, but he charged it up in his hand and presumably would have thrown a ball of death laser had he used it.
So basically, Sugata can faaairly precisely control A) The strength of the attack, B) The area of effect of the attack, and C) The shape of the attack (laser from heaven or laser balls or probably whatever else I feel like!)
HOWEVER! Thanks to the power cap, just about ANY TIME Sugata uses the 'pillar' shaped attack, he will pass out! Even if he uses a weakened version of it. Because it is such a twink in the sense that he can do it instantaneously. Also without Samekh around it draws COMPLETELY on his own libido and would probably knock him out even without the power cap 8'D
The 'medium' versions of King's Pillar will be the laser balls, which take a moment to charge up and are relatively less powerful (probably strong enough to explode a small tree if hit dead on). These are still strong enough to qualify as a 'medium' spell under the power cap. I may invent a 'small' spell version if he ever needs it.
PSA!!! Sugata used the King's Pillar to it's MAX (wanting to see how much damage he could do under the power cap) about a mile away from Amethyst off in the woods. Everyone in Aather who is outside at the time is welcome to have seen a huge bright light fall out of the sky, but it won't have done it's nuclear cloud formation because it's a lot weaker here! People may also have heard a distant sounding explosion.
Thread here!
Since this is a 'lol everyone can notice THAT' sort of thing, curious parties are welcome to hit up Amethyst's post (but not that specific thread without permission), or go check out where the explosion occurred. Sugata will be unconscious for the next 12 hours minimum, so 8'D Sorry team??? If you DO drop in to visit Amethyst and be like what the hell guys, assume it's at least an hour or so after the game. If your character goes looking for the SITE of the explosion, they will find a six foot wide by six foot deep crater, with the surrounding area looking rather blasted and wind torn.
